About Tebello Motshwane

Tebello is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa with extensive experience in family law, intellectual property law and commercial law. She is the managing director of Collective Intelligence Legal Consultants and the founder of the Sister In Law platform, which makes legal information accessible to African women. Her work focuses on explaining marriage contracts, divorce, child maintenance, and wills in clear language so clients can protect their families and assets.

Tebello’s commitment to public legal education has been recognized with multiple honours: she is a Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South Africans (Justice & Law) honouree (2020), a Top 50 Powerful Women recipient (2022), and a 2021 Nelson Mandela Washington Fellowship alumna. Outside of work, she is a mother of three and an avid outdoor enthusiast.
